Christina Bousquet, from the School of Medicine, is one of many new UBI users. But since she attended Intro to UBI training in June, Christina has used the new reporting environment as much as anyone—and already believes UBI makes her job working with grants and contracts much easier.
“UBI has definitely streamlined the process to view and modify GA reports,” she said. “Not only am I able to get needed information almost instantaneously, but reports are easily customizable. I can bookmark and save templates for future use. Everything you could want for GA data is essentially there.”
While UBI continues to a phased-release (GA launched in June, and GL is next), Christina admits she still uses Discoverer for some things. But like many others, she acknowledges UBI’s speed advantage over Discoverer.
“UBI is very easy to use—and intuitive,” she said. “I became more familiar and comfortable with UBI after just a few days.”
Christina is also a fan of UBI’s export to excel feature, because UBI’s exported reports look better and line up better on her screen. Simply put, UBI is much more flexible than what is currently available in Discoverer.
